Week 8 EOC

For my creative content I plan on making a Voice over commercial for Henneforce fry mix in a pro tools session with some calm soothing music i'm not exactly sure yet on what choice, I also plan on having some comedy relief in the back round with a lot of sound effects like chicken's on a farm and a fryer that is in use and a chop block where you hear a chicken get beheaded and some sort of funny sound effects of people eating and being delighted by the product. I also plan on reciting my mission statement for Henneforce fryer. I plan on making a bold fact that our product is a for charity as well as profit and that 45% of our profit goes to the typhoon relief in the Phillipines and that our company is made for people who want love and happiness in there kitchen when they cook and that when your happily cooking in your house for your family that you also made a difference in someone else's life as well by purchasing our product and helping people who are have it harder than the average person. I plan on using a lot of effects and ambiance to the recording to make the the charity aspect of our company I hopefully can use some news cast of the typhoon and show how hard it is right now in Asia where huge typhoons hit I want this to be released around the holidays so people can have delicious food and feel as if they made a difference.

Week 7 Pitch

Week 4 EOC There's an app for that

For Audio engineers there are a lot of charts and graphics that need to be read before you purchase a new Microphone or speaker. The Polarity or the polar response of frequencies of that particular microphone or speaker tells an audio engineer how well it picks up and put out certain frequencies. Therefore I believe there should be an app that shows any or all Microphones/ Speaker polar responses, when you think about it the choices in mics and speakers are endless you can try out so many combinations  of different frequencies and choices so if you just purchased a new blue microphone and it’s a tube condenser microphone a app that could show you it’s polar response chart  would be very useful to any audio engineer. Live sound engineers would use this app more often than any due to the fact that acoustic environments change every night for a live sound engineer if this app were to be created lots of doors would open and I believe that live audio can be an even more perfected art than  it is right this second. Also speakers they need to be checked correctly before being sold knowing the polar response of a certain speaker would help the choice in buying the right proper speakers for, the studio or at a live concert venue or out door festival event such as the many that take place in Vegas every night. Having that knowledge of  that  would make a head audio engineer or FOH engineers job much easier knowing that he made the right choice in speakers for that nights show. In conclusion I believe that a polar response App should be made very soon and made for all smartphones and computers it, I even feel it should be built in to other DAW’s or mixing boards.

EOC week 2 Boston Consulting Group-Video Games.

Video games are a very big industry but some are far more successful than other companies, I believe the star of the video game world is the Playstation 3 due to the fact that online players can log on for free, unlike the Xbox 360 were you have to pay a monthly subscription for online play I believe that the Xbox 360 is a question mark yes it still sells but the future for Xbox is very uncertain to to the fact that the next generation will be far more expensive and online services will go up as well. I believe that Nintendos are going to become obsolete soon because both the Playstation and the Xbox came out with motion sensor gaming and that right there is going to set Nintendo back due to the fact that Xbox and Playstation have a bigger market for there games and have much more popular and in demand games such as Gears of War and Halo. Now I think if some one in the video fame industry came out with a console that can play several different types of game that person would have another microsoft on their hands. People spend 400 500$ on consoles if someone out there made a console that can play multiple games it would make the video game world a lot bigger and probably put more of a demand for games.

Week 3 EOC: My Demographics

I fall under the generation Y Demographic, being born in 1993 makes me pretty close to technology social media and other such things. The text book say's that most children born in this generation were born using technology and knowing how to use technology this is very true I knew how to use a computer by 6 years old had internet most of my life and was around during the social media craze and smart phone technology phase that is taking over today's world. I agree with these statements because the end of the 90's began a whole new generation all new markets and technology to make money of off, come to think about this me being a audio major the whole reason why older engineers are going back to school is to use all these new digital audio technology and software such as, Pro-Tools and Avid, Photoshop, Logic and many many others. So being apart of this generation gives me a advantage in this world drastically changing by technology.

Week 3 EOC: Making Money for Good

 The Company I have chosen for making money for good is a percussion company called Vic Firth. Coming from the founder Victor Firth he believes making the best quality and mallets is crucial to the serious percussionist and I agree with it entirely, and with making mallets and drum sticks comes the source trees wood, you have to cut them down and make them into mallets or drum sticks. With this Vic Firth has a very awesome and effective way of giving back for every tree they cut down they plant two trees in it's place so that there still is beautiful trees while they cut one down. I don't exactly know how many drum sticks can be made from a tree but I'm sure it's a large amount of sticks for a great or future percussionist to start playing and learning with. I love Vic Firth sticks and believe in there drive for good equipment for the serious percussionist.

Week 1 Eoc: My voice

Having the mind of a percussionist is a gift and curse, how you ask? Well seeing any surface as a drum is one of those things wanting to bust out double paradiddles on a table or chair or desk is hard because you can't just drum where ever you please a lot of people find it annoying. But even still my passion for percussion is a fire that never leaves me, my mind is always on drums and how i can play them but my goal to all of this is to be a session player if you need a solid drummer for studio time or live shows i'm your guy playing with other people is the passion of drums for me because I take something away from playing another style or song that I never knew before until that day. Having several great teachers who showed me the ways I feel confident with my skills and professionalism i'm always on time and ready to rehearse. I've been playing for 5 years straight and my love of all music speaks to me in ways many people wouldn't understand the feeling of keeping the beat and keeping everyone attention is the best gift I feel I can give to this world.
